I have a serious question mainly aimed at guitarists...
If you had to pick between an acoustic guitar or an electric guitar (with amp) for the rest of your life, which would you pick?
My answer is acoustic, don't ask why i just had to pick one and i think i am more satisfied by the sounds of the acoustic!
PS. still love the electric...

Well......i think acoustic is awesome. you can play things on an acoustic that you just can't on an electric.
However, the range of sounds and tones that you can generate from an electric and amp prety much means that i have to say electric. Its a tough question, but that's my answer.
Acoustic! No question! Don't get me wrong, I love my electric, and would miss it like crazy!
I agree with Joff that the range of sounds and scope for creativity is so much greater on the electric. However, what about when I want to chill on the beach watching the sunset, strumming out sweet music on my guitar? I'd rather not have to have a throbbing generator and guitar rig next to me! It would ruin the ambiance!
Point being, you can take an accoustic anywhere, and play it whenever you want. Also, you get so much more feeling from an accoutic. many many reasons...
.. I do love my electic tho...
